Practical information for course participation

Enrolment

Enrolment for CIP’s courses is done through the online application form, which can be found below each individual course description on the website.

Please remember that your enrolment must be approved by the head of your department.

You are welcome to contact us via email (cip@hum.ku.dk) or call us to find out whether there are any places left on the course you want to enrol in.

First come, first served

When the deadline for enrolment for the individual course has expired, the applicants will be enrolled after the 'first come, first served' principle. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available places, we will create a waiting list and offer a new course when there are enough applicants.

We always try to offer the courses needed to meet the actual requirements across the University of Copenhagen.

Confirmation of enrolment

Once we have received your application, we will send you a receipt for your enrolment by email.

After the deadline for enrolment for the course has passed, we will send a confirmation email to all participants, including practical information about the course. You will receive the final confirmation no later than 2 weeks before the course starts.

Please note: You are not enrolled on a course until you have received the final confirmation email.

Payment

CIP will issue an electronic invoice to the individual participant's place of employment when the course starts. The invoice must be paid no later than 2 weeks after the issue date.

Materials are included in the course fee unless otherwise stated in the course description.

Course diploma

A detailed course diploma is issued upon completion of the course (a minimum attendance of 80 % is required) unless otherwise stated in the course description.

Cancellations

No classes are held during vacation periods or on national holidays.

Unfortunately, CIP can only run a specific course if a sufficient number of participants sign up. CIP reserves the right to cancel a course if there are not enough applicants. Cancellations will be announced to the applicants as quickly as possible after the deadline for enrolment, and no later than 2 weeks before the scheduled course start.

If you have applied for a course but wish to withdraw your application, please inform us in writing no later than 2 weeks before the course begins. If your cancellation is received less than 2 weeks before the course starts, the full course fee will be charged.

One-to-one courses must be completed within a predetermined time period. Other arrangements can only be made in special cases. Please note that lessons which are not held in this time period due to the participant not responding to inquiries from CIP, repeatedly cancelling or not attending lessons will be lost without refund.
