Supplementary training for teachers of Danish as a second language for SIRI

In the period 2018-2020, CIP has won the bid to handle the administration of courses and conferences under the supplementary training pool for Danish as the Second language area, which is provided by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) under the Ministry of Immigration and Integration. The task is primarily focused on course administration and organisation, with a potential for working more closely with SIRI on the content of the individual courses and conferences. For example, Anne Holmen was keynote speaker at SIRI's Annual teacher Conference 2018 entitled: Kvalitet i den beskæftigelsesrettede danskuddannelse. In 2019, the title is: Fremtidens lærerkompetencer og sprogundervisning.

The supplementary education programme for the teachers at the language centres includes information meetings (assessor training) for prøve i Dansk 1-3 and studieprøven, courses for new internal examiners and external examiners, dialogue meetings for exam organisers and an annual teacher conference. CIP and SIRI also offer a basic course for new managers at the language centres in 2019. In 2019, a total of 20 meetings and courses are offered in Copenhagen, Odense, Vejle and Århus.
