New workshop: Order, order! English for Meetings
CIP introduces a new workshop focusing on meetings and presentations in English. The aim is to equip participants to participate actively and confidently in meetings that are conducted fully or partially in English.
Order, Order! English for meetings – Do you recognise the scenes in the video?
The workshop will address key elements of meetings that often present a challenge when meetings are conducted in English. As with CIP's other courses, the design of the specific content is formed by the students ' needs and language level. The workshop is based on topics such as small talk, presentations, discussion of various topics and correct polite language use. The course is recommended for all who run or attend meetings where English is used.
The workshop is developed by two of CIP's most experienced academic language consultants Sophie Swerts Knudsen and Pete Westbrook.
We are looking forward to running the first process in November 2020. You can read more about the course content and find the link for registration in CIP's course catalogue (see under Order, Order! English for Meeting).
