Free workshop: Danish for meetings

Would you like to be more active in meetings held in Danish?

If so, come to CIP’s free workshop on meetings in Danish

In this 2 ½ hour intensive workshop, you will get acquainted with typical meeting vocabulary such as “dagsorden”, “ordstyrer” and “referat” as well as phrases that will enable you to more actively take part in meetings held in Danish.

We will play out our own “meetings” in groups to practice various communicative functions, such as asking for clarification and repetition, giving your opinion on a topic, turn taking, interrupting, apologizing -  and of course chit-chatting during the coffee break.

Additionally, you will get the chance to share experiences with other non-native Danish speaking KU employees, and together, we will exchange strategies, tips and tricks that might make meetings in Danish less overwhelming and more rewarding.

The workshop will feature a mixture of teacher explanations, participant input and discussions, and participants will be given the opportunity to try out their new skills and know-how via hands-on practical exercises.

Who will benefit from this workshop:

International staff at UCPH who would like to improve their Danish for meetings and who understand and speak some Danish already.
