LUNAS 2016
Conference on Academic Language Use and Academic Literacies from a Multilingual Perspective in Nordic Educational Contexts
The conference took place at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark from Monday, 9-11 May 2016. The conference brought together researchers and practitioners working with academic language from different perspectives. The conference was supported by the Nordplus Programme and the Carlsberg Foundation.
The conference 'Academic Language Use and Academic Literacies from a Multilingual Perspective in Nordic Educational Contexts' was organised by the Nordic LUNAS project, a network group of researchers from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. LUNAS is funded by the Nordplus Programme and focuses on the role of language in academic settings in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The network is a platform for the coordination of national research projects investigating academic language use and focusing on corpora of academic language and academic word and phrase lists.
