New Podcast: Language Use at the University of Copenhagen
CIPs has just released the podcast "Language Use at KU," and the first episode is about international staff teaching in Danish as a second language at the University of Copenhagen.
In the first episode, Katja Årosin from CIP has three guests in the studio.
This episode covers how international university staff experience teaching in Danish as a second language and how students perceive this situation. We discuss topics such as nervousness about teaching in Danish, adapting materials and academic explanations, communication with students, preparation time, support from management and colleagues, the need to learn and use Danish, and practical advice for others in the same situation.
