Languages on the Agenda – Sprog på dagsordenen, CIP releases new book

CIP is happy to release the new volume of the CIP series Studies in Parallel Language use: Languages on the Agenda – Sprog på dagsordenen. The publication is a Festschrift which is a result of the annual symposium in 2023, that was devoted to the celebration of Professor Anne Holmen’s 40th anniversary as a researcher, teacher, and mentor at Danish universities. The presentations reflected the many dimensions of Anne’s work that have helped put language and languages on the agenda across educational and societal contexts for more than four decades.

The Festschrift is therefore both about and dedicated to Anne Holmen, her work, and the immense influence she has had – and continues to have – on the fields of language teaching, language learning, and language policy in Denmark and beyond. The Festschrift contains 17 chapters written by 25 colleagues within the field of Language teaching and learning or Language policy.

The volume is freely available at the CIP website for all who are interested in the field: Sprog på dagsordenen – Languages on the agenda

The volume is edited by:
Janus Mortensen, Professor, CIP
Slobodanka Dimova, Professor, CIP
Sanne Larsen, Tenure Track Assistant Professor, CIP
