EALTA - European Association for Language Testing and Assessment
CIP is a part of EALTA, which is a professional association for language testers in Europe. EALTA promotes the understanding of theoretical principles of language testing and assessment, and the improvement and sharing of testing and assessment practices throughout Europe.
Aims
- to share professional expertise in language testing and assessment.
- to increase public understanding of language testing and assessment.
- to promote recognition of language testing and assessment.
- to improve language testing and assessment in systems and practice in Europe.
- to provide training in language testing and assessment.
- To make expertise in language testing and assessment readily available for the solution of assessment problems.
- To develop links with other groups interested in language testing and assessment.
- To engage in other activities for the improvement of language testing and assessment in Europe.
