EUROCALL
CIP is a part of the European Association of Computer Assisted Language Learning (EUROCALL) which brings together people who are passionate about the use of technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures.
EUROCALL was established in 1993 and has over the course of the last 27 years grown to become an important forum to assist researchers and practitioners in creating and sharing knowledge about the many aspects of technology for learning and teaching languages and culture.
Aim
- to offer a European forum for the creation and dissemination of innovative research and practice in its field.
- to provide a supportive environment for individual and collaborative researchers keen to push boundaries while keeping language learners' needs - including language teachers as learners - at the forefront of their mind.
- to host annual conferences about the most recent developments within the use of technology for language learning
Membership
Membership is open to anyone interested in the use of technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures. The benefits of joining are many and includes the possibility of attending the annual EUROCALL conference.
Through the annual EUROCALL conference, the many Special Interest Groups and the peer-reviewed EUROCALL publications (ReCALL journal and the EUROCALL Review), the organisation provides platforms for those researchers and practitioners passionate about technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures.

EUROCALL 2020
CIP should have hosted the 28th EUROCALL conference in August 2020. Unfortunately, it was not possible, so the conference was online instead.
Information about the EUROCALL 2020 online gathering is accessible at The EUROCALL Gathering Site.
