ECTS credit-bearing courses in English

CIP offers a range of ECTS credit-bearing courses for students each semester. These courses are offered in collaboration with the Department for English, Germanic and Romance Studies (Engerom) and the Open University.   • Academic English (15 ECTS): course in written and oral academic English for Danish and international BA/BSc students. The course is held each semester.
  • Academic Writing for Undergraduate Students (7.5 ECTS): course in written academic English for Danish and international BA/BSc students. The course is held each semester.
  • Presentation Techniques for Undergraduate Students (7.5 ECTS): course in presentation techniques in English for Danish and international BA students. The course is held each semester.
  • English in a Flash: Creative Short-Form Writing in English (15 ECTS): course in creative writing in English for BA/BSc students. The course is an evening course in collaboration with the Open University and is offered each spring semester.
  • Interacting across cultures: Developing awareness, critical reflection and skills (7.5 ECTS): online course across four Nordic universities aimed at developing students' intercultural communicative competence. Offered each autumn semester.

    All the courses are open to students who want to study the courses either as elective studies or individual courses. However, students enrolled on the English programme may not take the courses in academic English unless they apply for dispensation from the study board.  Read more about registration procedures and deadlines for elective and credit transfer students on the Faculty of Humanities website.
