Reading skills in Ancient Greek for Philosophy students
In the project Reading skills in Ancient Greek for Philosophy students, the aim was to give the students a deeper insight into the subject-matter of a course on Greek philosophy by adding the reading of source texts in the original language.

In the language course, the teacher took the students through a linguistic analysis of the texts geared towards shedding light on the connection between thought and language.
This linguistic scaffolding was received enthusiastically by both the philosophy teacher and his students, who came to see language and thought in philosophy as intricately connected.
