Teachers’ literacy in language testing and assessment

Teachers’ literacy in language testing and assessment is a development project supported by the Danish National Centre for Foreign Languages. The aim of the project is to develop a framework for teachers’ competency enhancement in connection with language evaluation. The output of the project is targeted language teachers in Denmark. The project runs until 2022 and aims to develop four online modules based on the latest knowledge within the field of language testing and assessment. The project is a collaboration between the University of Copenhagen, University College Copenhagen and derdiedas.dk.

Towards a personalised textbook - new tool and new methods

CIP will in 2021 carry through a project with the title "Towards a personalised textbook - new tool and new methods", which is funded by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Immigration (SIRI). The project will investigate and develop pedagogical methods and practices to utilise digital tools in the teaching and learning of Danish as a second language. It forms part of a wider research project based on a digital platform called “Zeeguu”, which has been developed specifically for personalised reading and vocabulary acquisition.

Turbodansk (Danish language course for students from Greenland)

Turbodansk was a short, high-intensity Danish language course for students from Greenland who were about to begin their studies at a Danish university. The course was offered by CIP for 2019-2020 in cooperation with the Danish Ministry of Children and Education.

Danish Summer Language Course (Students)

From 2017-2020 CIP has offered free Danish Summer Language Courses in Danish language and culture as part of the Cultural Agreement Programme supporting international cooperation and mobility. From 2021 this part of the Cultural Agreement Programme has been closed down but you can read about the content and teaching here of the course in 2019 at the CIP website (Danish version).
